Who is Neon Bimbo?

Born with blade handling skills like no other, Neon Bimbo is ready to slice.

I’ve been in the hairdressing industry for 35+ years. Successfully running my own business and working in the social media space, I’ve definitely had a taste of it all!

I’ve worked in product development, marketing, business and content creation. I’m lucky enough to be born with a passion for hair, and be able to live that passion in my everyday world.

I would unleash and steal my mothers fabric scissors to attend to my horses mane and keep the hairs at bay. Then it progressed to my two younger sisters hair, with some questionable fringes being cut. Eventually landing a Saturday job at the ripe age of 15, then an apprenticeship at 17.

This then led to apprentice of the year awards throughout my apprenticeship, along with some placings in statewide competitions. As the years tick along I have been constantly inspired by the never ending changes in trends and wanting to always try something new.

I learnt to also blog along the way, which gained me a viral post that was recognised by an Australian hairdressing brand that asked me to work for them. This gave me further skills that broadened my knowledge and passion for the hairdressing industry.
